Linders Furniture review in Long Beach, California: Linders ripped me off!

I purchased a new mattress at Linders. A Sealy firm mattress. The mattress sags 6 to 8 inches in the middle and seems to be defective and does not appear is to be the same mattress that we tried at the store on two occassions. We had also tried out the product at another store and liked the mattress. We have received a deffective mattress and Linders refuses to either refund or exchange the mattress. Moreover, customer services reps are rude and have provided no help in resolving the matter. At this point I'm willing to throw away the $1000 mattress because its resulting in serious back pain and will work to ensure no other customers experience the grief we have at Linders. This is not a company anyone should do business with. Dean

Linders Furniture review in Long Beach, California: I received a floor model and paid for new furniture

I have been buying from Linder's Furniture for a few years now, and have referred many family members to the store. Not only did I not receive the grocery rebate or the gas rebate a while back (You would have thought that I would have learned the first time around), but the furniture that I did receive was scratched and used, as if it were a floor sample or already in someone's house. I am in the retail industry, and I know that when a store sells a floor sample, they always offer a discount. I would not have paid less for a floor sample. I wanted new furniture. When I asked the salesperson and customer service, they continued to ask me exactly what about my furniture I had a problem with, even though I explained in great detail about the scratches. My parents received a sectional which was damaged in the back, as if it had been used as well. I even noticed the paint color from a wall had rubbed off on back of the sectional, which looks suspiciously like the paint on the wall in the store. I don't know what kind of business this is, but I would not recommend buying from them. Kind of shady. I don't care how long someone has been in business, it just proves they have been dishonest for that much longer.

Linders Furniture review in Long Beach, California: Sold me inferior electronics and a bogus warranty

Linder's Furniture sold me five tv's . All were inferior , three were lemons. They tricked me into buying an extended warranty for $1750.00 and assured me that it was the "best" and "all our customers buy it". I trusted the salesperson and ended up getting screwed. Inevitable the lousy tv's broke down.. I tried to have them fixed but both the Warranty compnay and Linder's denied responsibility. I spent countless hours on the telephone , on hold or waiting for call backs that never happened. Linder's purposely tricks consumers into buying these warranties because they are a big money makers and Linder's greedy
