Linders Furniture review in Cerritos, California: Unsatisfied Consumer

Purchased a two piece leather sectional sofa/chaise with a 5 year warranty in 2009. Fast forward to 2013, and still under warranty, I called the company(elite Gaurdsman)to report damage to my chaise. They assured me that someone would be contacting me to set up an appointment to view the damage to the furniture. I received a letter in the mail stating that my claim was denied and that I need to review the policy I purchased. Problem 1. I was sold a leather couch and I know that leather does not bubble and then split open and peel. 2. The refusal of service to my furniture. Intially I wanted the chaise fixed, now I want all my money back. I am not satisfied with the handling of this.I searched for a leather sectional it was advertised as leather, and was sold something that looks like leather but is absolutely not leather. This was discovered when the surface started peeling. I do not have confidence in your company and will tell everyone I know and come in contact with in my line of work, not to purchase furniture with your company.

Linders Furniture review in Los Angeles, California: Linder's Furniture should be ashamed!!!!!

I purchased a Black Marble table set from Linder's Furniture along with a 5 year warranty for an additional $69.95 and was told it would cover any damages to the furniture. My children spilled some beverages on the Marble top which became stained. I called the warranty company and a technician came out was unable to repair the damage. After speaking with Guardsman the warranty company, I was told that Linder's were no longer in business and a refund of the warranty purchased would be given to me. Now I'm stuck with a marble table that can't be repaired or replaced. When I purchased the warranty at their Rancho Cucamonga store, the representative told me that should any damage occur to my furniture that it will be repaired or replaced. Now I can't reach anyone. I'm very disappointed and upset with Linder's. This is bad business for anyone. If they knew their doors would be closing, they shouldn't offer people such a good deal. I would not have purchased the table or the warranty had they been honest and upfront with me. I hope there's a class action suit coming in the soon not distant near future against Linder's Furniture.

Hi Malik, Who refunded back your $69.95? I have the same problem.

I purchased the 5 year warranty which I need right now but the warranty company does not have me in their system. However, I'm holding an invoice on what I paid.

Linders Furniture review in Palm Springs, California: LINDER'S Furniture falling apart in 6 months

We purchased sectional and the seats are caving in (literally the wood is broken in reclining seats, the gliders do not glide and the seams are coming apart in the first 6 months...paid $2500 for this piece of *** and now I can't get ahold of anyone and the warranty company says it won't cover it...what a joke! It was a battle to get the furniture and then they over charged us and we went to battke to get our moiney back...I am kicking myself for not cancelling everything back then! I really can't believe companies can get any with this...

Linders Furniture review in Anaheim, California: I was ripped off by Linders

invited to a special customers sell and was sold a cabinette which delivery kept getting postponed until the company went out of business. They refused to return my money through Discover for furniture never received. That SO CALLED SPECIAL CUSTOMER SELL WAS A SCAM. Is there a class action suit started against these scam artists. What are trusting loyal customers supposed to do. Why aren't any of these companies regulated and held accountable. Aren't these companies that buy the closing store responsible for the customers like myself that never received furniture paid for. This sucks. kristi.stannard@ahmchealth.com

Lucky me, I went from a small condo to a large house and had several empty rooms to fill. Time to go furniture shopping again, so I went back to linders since I had previously bought a microfiber sectional and a buffet, was quite pleased.

I purchased a doorbuster 399.99 sofa, and also wanted to purchase the matching loveseat for 299.00 bu tcouldnt afford it at that time. So about 8 months later they begin their 'going out of business blowout'. I figured now would be a smart time to buy the loveseat. Wrong.

The price for my matching love seat was 499.00. I had to call *** on that. I had them pull up my past purchasesto prove I paid less for a larger matching item and that they should honor me that previous price. Wrong.

I ended up paying 399.99 for the love seat cuz I needed it to match the set. They basically are making up the prices as needed by them. I guess I got what I needed from them, my house is full now.

all my purchases from them to this point was great. Oh well.

I had a 5,000.00 dollar bedroom set on layaway had payed 3,000.00 on it and went to make another payment and the store was closed no signs of numbers to call completely empty!!!!! They had said they would be there until mid February they were gone feb 2 did i just loose 3,0000 I am pissed this is not fair.Is there anything we can do to get our money back or at least something else!!!!! Linders furniture will not deliver my bed!

I paid Linders furniture $5200.00 up front for living room furniture, a bed and a top of the line mattress set. I personally picked up the furniture (a 3 piece sectional) and the sleigh bed frame. That's when they told me someone had sold my mattress set (approx. $1300.00) to someone else and that they had ordered a new set. This took place the second week of Dec. of 2011. They told me that it would be in that Friday of that week. Guess what, no mattress. I had given them two days before I showed up and asked what happened. They didn't even know if it was ordered. They said check with them the following wednesday. NO MATTRESS! Now we're into the 4th week of Dec. I patiently waited and called again that friday. A Bianca told me that they would give me a free delivery on the following tuesday. You got it, no delivery. That was the tenth of Jan. called the following day and another lacky told me that for sure it would be delivered by Sat. of that week. That's right, no delivery. This is now the 22nd of Jan. I don't know what else to do. They say this is Linders moving out sale, so I don't know when the're actually moving out. The main person giving them their instructions is a Samuel Sanchez, he works for the bank that foreclosed Linders. I am going to Linders to ask again, but I have no ammunition, they have my money and we can't afford any more money for a new bed. We are seniors and this will probably be our very last new bed in our life. Why are they lying to me? Are they trying to get out of town before delivery? That Sanchez guy is real slick, he could have sold me the paint off the building! I trusted them with our last savings. Is there any advice anyone can give me? I would greatly appreciate anything. It is true what Dibs said. You have two options: 1.

File a chargeback with your credit card company if you used one as form of payment. 2.

Threaten to report Linders and liquidation company to the district attorneys office for fraud.

I hope you paid by credit card. Call the fraud dept.

and file a claim. Do it right away. Don't listen to promises.

Once your money is credited back to the credit card, they might wake up...I hope you have. :)

Linders Furniture review in Los Angeles, California: Just overall a crooked operation

My wife and I travel past Laguna on I5 everyday to t5e office and noticed t5e signs indicating t5e store was offering "Clearance" prices in its "Final Days'. We decided to stop and take a look around. We were recently looking at coffee tables and decided to give t5e store a quick walk t5roug5. Upon entering, I couldn't 5elp but notice a sign w5ic5 said "All sales final". We found a table t5at was basically a trunk and stood t5ere waiting for a quote as it was not marked. A gentleman walked over and we casually asked 5im t5e price. After making us wait w5ile 5e c5ecked, 5e came back wit5 $850.00 including t5e two end tables or 350.00 by itself. I gasped, "350.00 for a trunk?". On our way out my wife noticed a sofa set s5e recognized for we purc5ased t5e sofa t5ere 2 years before as a doorbuster for 599.99 (t5ey delivered it wit5 two rig5t seat cus5ions and it took six mont5s and eig5t p5one calls to finally get t5e left one, a different story) My wife exclaimed, "I t5ink I would like t5e matc5ing c5air for our sofa, w5at do you t5ink? I said "It must be mis-marked at 2499.99!". Anot5er associate over5eard me and assurred me it was t5e correct price. I told 5im 5ow muc5 we 5ad paid for t5e sofa before, and 5e said "but t5is time it includes t5e c5air and ottoman". So I couldn't 5elp it w5en I asked... "So t5is is an 1900.00 c5air?". T5en 5e proceeded to laug5???? T5is place is a complete and utter rip off. T5ey marked everyt5ing up 200% before t5eir so called "Clearance Sale".

Linders Furniture review in Los Angeles, California: Gift certificates not honored.

Went the grocery certificates route not once but twice. I never got a nickel. Then Linders sent me five $100 gift certificates with an experation of 8/31/12. Heard they were going out of business so went in to use the certificates. I was told they won't honor them. I think a judge needs to get involved and make them honor what the company has promised people, whether it is cetificates or merchandise. To many companies get away with this kind of theft with no accountability. Shame on them and everyone else who want to screw the public.

Linders owes me a store credit, I was never notified that they would be closing and needed to come in and use my store credit or I would loose it, instead I find out they are closing decide I better get there before they are gone and so is my money and then find out they will not give me the credit due me. I asked for a manager and explained that I had a credit, he said well we are not linders we are just selling off their inventory, I told him your sign still says linders your sales slips still says linders, your sales staff still says welcome to linders, so all you want to do is take peoples money and run, not give them what is owed to them. We also had a 400$ store credit and were NEVER told of the closing. We were told "too bad, you will not get any of your money back or cannot get any merchandice either".

This must have happened to many people. Does anyone know of a class action lawsuit????

How can they take OUR money? What a bunch of CROOKS!!!
